The Detroit Lions remain one of the NFL’s biggest farces with them now cancelling Kid Rock
Their recent past hasn’t been great, but there was that one playoff triumph all the way back in 1991, and that’s about it. Desperate times necessitate desperate measures, and the new report might be precisely what the Lions require. Kid Rock will reportedly no longer perform at Ford Field.
Kid Rock Being Cancelled: No Kid Rock During Detroit Lions Games
Because it will be difficult to play Kid Rock now that the gameday DJ has pulled it from his playlist. For their eight picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions got multiple “A” marks, including an “A+.” And, perhaps, they will no longer play Kid Rock.
What Happened:
That’s a lot of reasons to be excited about a possible winning season. But, Lions supporters, don’t get your hopes up; you are the Detroit Lions, Kid Rock music or not.
Over the previous 65 years, the Detroit Lions have tried almost everything, and none of it has succeeded. Sure, there was one playoff victory in 1991, but the organization’s struggle to remain relevant in a league that creates parity is both irritating and amazing.
For decades, severe measures have been required. And, to be honest, there is some positive momentum as Dan Campbell recognizes the magnitude of the undertaking and the makeup of the audience. Throw in an intriguing selection in which the Lions may have landed a defensive anchor for the next ten years as well as a game-changing wideout, and there’s reason to be optimistic.
Do not underestimate the power of a positive energy shift. Not long ago, you would have been arrested for merely suggesting that a sporting event in Detroit could go place without Kid Rock screaming from the speakers. Things move swiftly. Perhaps for the better.
And that’s before we learned this afternoon that Kid Rock will no longer be performing at Ford Field. Because it will be difficult to play Kid Rock after the gameday DJ has cleared it from the system.
