Chelsea defender Marc Guehi has finally sealed his transfer to Crystal Palace with the club offering an extremely lucrative offer
After seeing Fikayo Tomori seal a move to AC Milan, Chelsea have now also lost out on the services of promising young defender, Marc Guehi.
His move which was in the oven for the last couple of weeks has finally unravelled with Crystal Palace affirming the switch. The wonderkid has today officially signed a five year contract with Crystal Palace to see the club acquire his services.

While a transfer fee has now been reported as of now, the figure is said to be in between 15 and 20 million pounds. Despite his young age, Crystal Palace were willing to open the strings of their purse for the player owing to the stellar seasons he’s endured.
Guehi who is a Chelsea academy graduate had spent the last two seasons on loan at Swansea City. He was exceptional for the club who looked set to extend his loan to a third season before Crystal Palace decided to swoop in for the player.
While Chelsea have managed to land a notable fee for the player, Chelsea supporters are largely despondent at letting go at the player. While they have inserted a sell on clause into his deal and first choice rights if Crystal Palace sell him, the player’s sprawling skill set is said to have been too good to let him go.
Whilst Chelsea are laden to the brim with worldclass defenders, the club could end up ruing the two defenders its lost out on recently. Both Tomori and Guehi are capable of making massive strides in the world owing to their expertise.

Chelsea are eagerly though monitoring Erling Haaland with Roman Abramovich said to be directly working on sealing the Borussia Dortmund player’s transfer.
