Prosecutors said on Wednesday that former NFL tight end Kevin Ware Jr burnt his girlfriend body after he killed her, know his net worth and NFL contract
The New York Post said that court documents detailed the brutal murder of Ware’s girlfriend, Taylor Pomaski.
Pomaski, 29 at the time of her disappearance in April, was last seen fighting with Ware, 42, at a home party. According to eyewitnesses, the two got into a brutal brawl at the party.

For weeks after Pomaski was missing, police in her area tried to contact Ware to ask about what happened to her. When she went missing, he wasn’t immediately considered a suspect. Instead, investigators in Harris County labelled the former NFL player a “person of interest” because he and other potential witnesses had not come forward.

Fox News stated that US Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force agents apprehended Ware at a Spring strip mall.
The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to ABC13 in June that Kevin Ware Jr. was arrested for failing to appear at his April and May bond supervision hearings. The documents also showed that the ex-San Francisco 49ers tight end had been busted with a gun in April and a controlled substance in May.
NFL Career And Troubled History Of Kevin Ware
Former NFL player Kevin Ware Jr. played 16 games in the league. Ware was a tight end with the San Francisco 49ers in 2004 and the Washington Redskins in 2003. While his salary and contract details aren’t known, his net worth stands at $100,000.
During his brief NFL career, he caught four passes for 26 yards. Ware suited up for the University of Washington Huskies before making the jump to the National Football League.
Kevin Ware Getting Arrested In Texas
The body of Pomaski was found in Harris County in the winter. Ware was arrested for tampering with evidence when her body was found. Ware Jr. was accused of leaving a pub without paying his bill in May of 2010. He was captured in Houston, Texas on June 27 for avoiding authorities. The 6′ 3″, 259-pound Ware was arrested for allegedly attacking a bar valet.
Former NFL player Kevin Ware Jr. agreed to a plea deal on drug and weapons charges, all while still facing separate charges in Texas.

At the Harris County jail, he was being held on a combined $10,000 bond on the charges of escape and theft. Kevin Ware Jr. was sentenced to two years in prison in December 2018 after being found guilty of manufacturing or delivering a prohibited drug.
