India vs South Africa reserve day rules
If rain interrupts the upcoming final clash, the two teams will get an additional 190 minutes for completing the match. However, if both teams cannot complete a minimum of 10 overs per side, it will head to the Reserve Day. If this happens, the match will continue on June 30 from where it stopped on June 29. Moreover, the reserve day will feature the same additional 190 minutes with reduced overs if necessary.
Final result in the event of a whitewash
If the 2024 T20 World Cup India vs South Africa clash is abandoned due to incessant rains on both days, a Super Over will come into play based on the rules set by the ICC. However, if a Super Over cannot take place due to weather conditions, it will be considered as a no result. In such a case, both India and South Africa will be declared as joint winners.
