Know more about Kengan Ashura season 2
The video, which appears to offer a sneak peek at the bouts fans can expect to see in Kengan Ashura season 2, has only served to increase anticipation for the show’s forthcoming release.
As was previously reported, the most recent trailer for season 2 of Kengan Ashura provides a sneak peek at the battles to come. Since each battle only lasted a few seconds, this summary is by no means comprehensive. That’s how the trailer keeps going until the very end when we see Ohma Tokita and Kiryu Setsuna together.
The Original Manga
Since the animosity between Tokita and Setsuna is what drives the plot of the show, it makes logical to close the season preview with them. Fans are expecting that the two will continue their winning runs throughout the season and meet in the finals of the Kengan Tournament, despite the fact that they will not face each other in the second round.
Serialization of the original manga began in April 2012 on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday digital publication website and ran through August 2018. There were a total of 237 episodes in the series, collected across 27 books. In January of 2019, Sandrovich and Daromeon released a sequel to Kengan called Kengan Omega.
The Protagonist of Kengan Ashura
After the Edo era, affluent businessmen and merchants began hiring gladiators to compete in clandestine tournaments known as Kengan. With the rise of modern megacorporations, these bouts served as a common way to settle corporate disputes and set the ground for acquisitions.
Yamashita Kazuo, a Japanese salaryman working for the Nogi Group, scouts our protagonist, Tokita “Ashura” Ohma. Tokita enters the event with the intention of dominating his opponents. His past, though, starts to catch up with him as the competition continues.
