The tackle that led to Thibodeaux’s injury sparked a lot of debate online. Fans argued whether or not it counted as a dirty tackle.

The incident occurred during a preseason game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the New York Giants.
During the game, Thibodeaux appeared to get taken out with a dirty, low hit near his knee. The blow left him unable to walk by himself as he left the game on a cart.

The latest updates on the injury came back with positive news for Kayvon Thibodeaux and his team. An MRI report revealed that that Kayvon would luckily not be sidelined for too long.
Adam Schefter reported that: “Initial tests revealed that Giants’ DE Kayvon Thibodeaux suffered a sprained MCL that is expected to sideline him 3-4 weeks. His ACL and meniscus were intact. Giants are still hopeful that he will be ready for the regular-season opener vs. the Titans.”
Following the events last night, Kayvon Thibodeaux displayed confidence that there was nothing to worry about with his injury.
Since the incident transpired, a lot of online debate has been making rounds on the internet about the block by Bengals’ Thaddeus Moss on Kayvon Thibodeaux. However, Giants head coach Brian Daboll felt that the play was no in the least dirty.
