The victim in yesterday's hit and run accident passed away yesterday around noon. Her name is Kaylee Gansberg, 21, from Lisle, Illinois. She was a WMU student. Kaylee Gansberg was struck by a driver in the 2700 block of West Michigan Avenue. Several of Kaylee’s classmates and friends at Western Michigan came together to pay tribute to her after she passed away. Her sorority, CHI OMEGA, took its way through social media to mourn Kaylee.

Kaylee Gansberg was a 21-year-old Western Michigan University student, who belongs to Lisle, Illinois. The college senior was an honor student, majoring in fine arts, and also was focused on photography. The college student wanted to travel all across world and photograph architecture after graduation.
As per the reports by Fox32, Kaylee’s parents revealed that Kaylee was passionate of doing painting and was working on one the night before the fatal accident. Kaylee’s loved ones have further stated in her favor that, Kaylee was so excited about her new apartment.
Her official Twitter handle reveals that she was born on September 27th and would soon turn 22 years old. She also had a younger brother named, Alex. This 21-year-old student was a former Lisle High School student and took regular participation in art competitions as she was an amazing artist.
Kaylee Gansberg’s Accident
Kaylee Gansberg was hit by a truck near West Michigan Avenue on Saturday. It is reported that officers found her lying on the road but the driver had fled. The police also revealed that it was under the influence of alcohol when the accident took place. The person who hit Kaylee was later found and arrested.
Kaylee’s family revealed that her friend performed life-saving measures until paramedics arrived at the scene and tried to save her. Unfortunately, she died before receiving medical help. Kaylee was a young girl who wanted to do a lot with her life after graduating. She doesn’t have an Instagram profile.
