Karolina Bielawska of Poland has been named Miss Universe 2021, defeating candidates from 96 nations, including Miss India Manasa Varanasi, who came in 11th place at the international beauty competition.

The Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico, hosted the 70th edition of the event on Wednesday night.
Bielawska was crowned by Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica, who won the competition in 2020, according to the official Miss World website.ย After being crowned Miss World 2021, Bielawska stated,
“When I heard my name I was shocked, I still can’t believe it. I am honoured to wear the Miss World crown and can’t wait to get to work. I will remember this amazing chapter in Puerto Rico for the rest of my life.”
This is Poland’s second Miss World title. Before this, in 1989, Aneta Kreglicka won the prestigious pageant for the country.

Her Career
Karolina Bielawska’s professional career began while she was in her senior year of high school.ย She became interested in fashion modelling, but being a supermodel takes a lot of effort.
So, in 2018, sheย began her preparations for the tournament, focusing on her physical appearance as well as her strategy. Finally, in 2019, she competed in and won the title of Miss Polonia, bringing her one step closer to realising her ambition.
Laterย then, she was crowned Miss World 2021 in November 2021.
She is a volunteer with a non-profit organisation called “Zupa Na Pietrynie” in addition to her modelling career. This non-profit organisationย gives meals, beverages, clothing, face masks, and medical assistance to homeless individuals every weekend.
