Some reports initially stated that Benzema’s contract is a two-year deal, with a possible third year option, like the one Lionel Messi’s had with PSG.

Karim Benzema’s contract compared to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi

Benzema will earn around $214 million a year from his new contract with Al Ittihad, which is just a little over Cristiano Ronaldo’s current contract with Al Nassr. Ronaldo currently earns a reported $213 million per year with Al Nassr, with most of those earnings coming from image rights.

Meanwhile, Messi’s new contract details on joining Inter Miami is still yet to be revealed. However, his contract at PSG was worth a reported $41 million per year for two years, with an extra third year option. As such, going with that value, Benzema’s wages clearly dwarf Messi’s wages at PSG.
