Kansas City Super Bowl Parade date and start time

Every time the Arrowheads win the Super Bowl, they have a tradition of parading the Vince Lombardi trophy around Kansas the very next Wednesday.

This year again, the team looks to do the same, and this year, the Kansas City parade will coincidentally fall on Valentine’s Day, i.e., February 14. Notably, the parade also falls on Ash Wednesday, an important day in the Christian calendar. Notably, the parade is scheduled to start off at 11 a.m., following which a victory rally will begin at Union Station around 12:45 p.m., as soon as the parade finishes.

As of now, the Kansas City Sports Commission has yet to announce the route plans for the Super Bowl parade. However, the city council has already cleared the sports commission to spend $1 million on the event. According to some reports, the parade could start on Grand Boulevard and go all the way to Union Square.

Since the Kansas City Super Bowl Parade falls on Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday, fans and attendees can expect a heavy traffic situation. Notably, even besides the parade, the expected route points are the main hotspots in the city.

Fans and attendees can watch the entire rally from the lawn of the National World War I Museum and Memorial. Moreover, fans who cannot attend the event in person can watch the live broadcast of the whole parade on KSHB-41, FOX4, starting at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

The live stream of the event will also be available on popular streaming services like YouTube, Hulu, Disney Hotstar, etc.
