What Exactly Happened in Episode 6 of KamiKatsu – Working for God in a Godless World
In the last episode, we saw Yukito and Loki have a short conversation about their current situations before Loki left. Bertrand encountered Loki as she was leaving and decided to accompany her back to the Imperial Capital. Meanwhile, Yukito felt bad for abandoning Atar, so he went over to talk to her.
But then he came clean about why he was doing it, adding Atar as a new goddess to Mitama’s pantheon of gods. It’s hilarious, but Atar always seems to get the most fans, much to Mitama’s chagrin. More than 6,000 people in the isolation camps of Atar and Mitama converted to Yukito’s religion after he convinced them that the same god could do both creation and battle.
Then they found out that an archon named Dakini in the area was gaining influence, and that her powers revolved around sexual desire. Yukito and company infiltrate her faith and run across Riche, the third branch of Dakini’s religion’s deputy head. As Yukito and the others’ actual loyalties became clear, however, Riche pleaded for their assistance in eliminating the Dakini faith.
