The traditional buffalo race of coastal Karnataka, called Kambala is making its debut in Bangalore, have a look at the 2023 race tickets price and date and time

Kambala will take place at the Palace Grounds on November 25 and 26. Puttur MLA Ashok Kumar Rai is leading this initiative, making it a significant moment for Bengaluru.

The Kambala Games will happen at Gate 5 of the spacious 70-acre Palace Grounds, starting on November 25 at 10:30 am and continuing until the evening of November 26.

On November 23, more than 150 pairs of Kambala buffaloes will travel from the coast to the capital. They’ll make a stop at Hassan and then pass through Nelamangala before entering Bengaluru, accompanied by their attendants and masters.

Expect heavy traffic on Palace Road and nearby routes from November 24 to 26 due to a big conference by Tulu Koota. The event on November 24 may draw over 10 lakh people, causing congestion.

To handle the expected crowd, Bengaluru Traffic Police has given guidelines for smooth traffic on the two days. You can park at Krishna Vihar (Gate No-1) and Tripuravasini (Gate No-2) in Palace Grounds. If you’re coming from the Central Business District, make a U-turn at Mekhri Circle and use Gate No-1 (Krishna Vihar) for parking. If you’re coming from Hebbal or Yeshwanthpura through Mekhri Circle, the parking at Gate No-1 is for you too. For those taking cabs, enter through Gate No-2 and drop off at the assigned area.

Don’t park on roads near the venue, and heavy trucks can’t move around from 7 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 10 pm on November 25 and 26.

Organizers expect a large crowd of 500,000 to 800,000 attendees for its debut in Silicon City. Many coastal job seekers and enthusiasts are likely to come. There’s seating for 10,000 VVIPs, and the general public can witness the event in a setup resembling the style of coastal rural areas.
