Story
In โKalki 2898 AD,โ Sumathi is seen as pregnant, while Commander Manas is tasked to find her to extract serum from her body for Supreme Yaskin.

Kalki 2898 AD Ending Explain
During the last 30 minutes of the film, a significant battle unfolds between Ashwatthama and Bhairava, two formidable forces unwilling to surrender. Amidst all this, Commander Manas arrive at Shambala along with his troops, which led to another simultaneous conflict between their armies.
As the conflict occurs, Bhairava struck with something and falls unconscious near Ashwatthamaโs stick on the stairs. Though, the danger isnโt over as Commander Manas arrives and captures Sumathi.

He traps Ashwatthama, preventing him from fighting. As this happens, Ashwatthamaโs stick begins to glow and suddenly falls into Bhairavaโs hands. He uses that stick to kill Commander Manas.
Ashwatthama becomes emotional, and a flashback to the Mahabharata reveals that Bhairava resembles Karna.
The major twist in the end indicates that Bhairava is a reincarnation of Karna, although he is unaware of this.
When Bhairava drops the stick, he returns to his original self. He kidnaps Sumathi and uses Bujji to escape Shambala.
Ashwatthama attempts to stop the vehicle, but Bhairava uses super speed mode to knock him back and flee. The sci-fi movie ends on a major cliffhanger.

Kalki 2898 AD Part โ 2 Expected Release Date
Currently, Prabhas is filming โThe Raja Saab,โ a Telugu romantic horror film directed by Maruthi. Followed by that, the actor is scheduled to start shooting for โSalaar: Part 2 โ Shouryaanga Parvamโ on August 10.
Ashwini Dutt, the producer of โKalki 2898 AD,โ plans to release the highly anticipated Part 2 in June 2025. Media reports suggests that filming for Kalki 2898 AD sequel will resume later this year, with a potential mid-2025 theatrical release planned but no official information about the release date has been given yet.
