The “Kali Jotta” filming started on February 24, 2021. The release date for the romantic drama movie, which was originally slated for March 25, 2022, was then changed to June but postponed.
Kali Jotta was finally released on February 3, 2023, and Omjee Star Studios handled the international distribution.

The Cast of Kali Jotta
Satinder Sartaaj, an actor and musician, plays the male protagonist in the movie. The actor had previously been in the 2020 Punjabi movie Ikko Mikke and the international historical fantasy film The Black Prince, in which he played Maharaja Duleep Singh.
Neeru Bajwa, one of the most renowned actresses in the Punjabi cinema industry, plays the female lead in the movie. In the 2021 comedy Shava Ni Girdhari Lal, Bajwa appeared alongside well-known actors Gippy Grewal and Himanshi Khurana.
The “Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22” famed actress Wamiqa Gabi is one of the movie’s leading ladies. She has appeared in Amazon Prime Video’s recently-released romantic anthology series Modern Love: Mumbai.
The Makers of Kali Jotta
Kali Jotta is jointly funded by Santosh Subhash Thite, Varun Arora, Sarla Rani, and Sunny Raj. Neeru Bajwa Entertainment, U&I Films, and VH Entertainment are the companies presenting this project. The show’s creator is Harinder Kour.
Lalit Sahoo is the technical director of photography, Bharat S. Rawat is in charge of the editing, and Shudhanshu Jaiswal is in charge of the VFX. The soundtrack for the movie was written by Beat Minister; Raju Singh provided the background music; and Sartaaj, the lead actor, wrote the lyrics.
Vicky Makhu handles line production, and Ankita Dhar and Amit Sharma are in charge of production design.
According to the information received, the film ‘Kali Jota’ can be seen on ‘Chaupal’, but its date has not been announced regarding the OTT release of this film.
