What Exactly Happened in Chapter 3
Kagurabachi has surpassed Boruto and My Hero Academia to become Manga Plus’s number four most-read series. Both have been running for many years and are extremely popular among manga fans. And Kagurabachi surpassed them in only two chapters. Up until now, we haven’t seen Chihiro take on any physically capable male opponents. In the first chapter, he engaged the Yakuza in combat, but it was hardly a battle. In Chapter 4, Chihiro finally confronts the sorcerer and begins the “actual” combat.
In Chapter 3 of Kagurabachi, we see the sorcerer arrive to kidnap Char. If sorcerers are after Char, she must be more than just a normal girl. They’re taking her because they think her family has business sorcerers.
The only explanation I can come up with is that she is the runaway daughter of a powerful wizard. It’s also possible that Char’s father, like Chihiro’s, is a famous person whose life the sorcerers wish to end.
One thing we know for sure is that next week’s installment will feature Chihiro’s epic battle with the sorcerer. Chihiro’s mastery of a variety of skills is also on display. Even though Shiba is nearby, saving Cher from the wizard is his top priority.
The following chapter could contain flashbacks showing Chihiro’s training with the demon sword. Okay, I guess we’ll have to see if Chihiro can defeat the wizard.
