Juventus Livid With USMNT’s Weston McKennie After He Once Again Flouts COVID-19 Norms

Weston McKennie ended up missing USA’s soccer showdown with Canada after flouting COVID-19 protocols, an incident which has left Juventus irate

Although he has an innate talent, one which has seen his stock elevate in no time, Weston McKennie isn’t doing himself any favours with his decadent personality.

The player clearly has a personality problem, one which is seeing him grow out of favour with Juventus. After violating COVID-19 norms in Italy earlier this year as he hosted a party at his place during lockdown, Weston has once again flouted protocols.

It was with the USMNT this time around with the USA soccer team deciding to exclude him from its tie against Canada. While further details of what had lead to him being left on the sidelines have not emerged, its come to light that Weston had broken the COVID guidelines in place with the player taking to Instagram to talk about it.

“Unfortunately, I am suspended for tonight’s match due to a violation of team COVID-19 protocols. I am sorry for my actions,” the player wrote in an Instagram story.

The entire incident though is said to have left Juventus livid as per reports emanating from Italy. The club which is extremely adamant about players following the disciplinary rules in place is far from pleased with the negative publicity Weston is attracting persistently.

According to Tuttosport, Tottenham and Aston Villa would be ready to make an offer to Juventus for the player with the Serie A side open to selling him if things continue in the same manner.
