Klopp and Pep’s rivalry dates back to their time in Germany when Klopp managed Borussia Dortmund and Pep managed Bayern Munich.

The Liverpool vs Man city clash at the Etihad in in April, 2022, was one of Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp’s biggest Premier League games in recent memory.
After the match ended in a draw, Man City got the edge they needed, to win yet another Premier League title by just a single point above the Reds.
This time, Man City are near the top of the Premier League table once again, while Liverpool look to shake off a tough start to the campaign.
