Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular anime series of 2021. The series featured some of the best animation and artwork. It is not surprising to those who are already familiar with Studio MAPPA’s previous work, as it is the best that a Shonen-anime can be.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 was announced to be released in 2023 across two consecutive seasons in September 2022, over 18 months to the day after the first broadcast concluded. Thankfully, the actual release date has already been announced.
Jujutsu Kaisen was formally renewed by Studio MAPPA for season 2 on February 12, 2022, during a special production event in Japan.
While it’s understandable that fans were over the moon at this news, few people in the community would have been too shocked by the show’s return to television. In addition, Jujutsu Kaisen season 1 ended with the phrase “To be continued.”
But there is still plenty of source material to adapt for the TV show because the series was clearly popular enough to merit a renewal.

With season 1 spanning up to chapter 64 of the original manga’s Volume 8, there is still a tonne of source material to adapt. The good news for fans is that 217 chapters of the manga have already been released in Japan in 22 full Tankobon volumes. If the manga keeps going at its current rate, there may be enough material for at least two more anime seasons.
The season 2 voice actors cast will include Yuichi Nakamura as Satoru Gojo, Takahiro Sakurai as Suguru Geto, Aya Endo as Shoko Ieiri, Anna Nagase as Riko Amanai, and Takehito Koyasu as Toji Fushiguro.
The Release Date For Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Is Finally Confirmed
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is set to debut on Thursday, July 6, 2023, as part of the summer anime broadcasting schedule. It was revealed in a brand-new teaser trailer.
Sunghoo Park will be replaced as the director by Shta Goshozono (season 1, episode 8, 17 directors), and new cast members include Anna Nagase as Riko Amanai and Takehito Koyasu as Toji Fushiguro.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 might have a 24-episode broadcast running from July to December 2023. Additionally, in September, season 2 will air over two consecutive courses or three-month seasonal slates.
