What Exactly Happened so far?
The previous chapter started with Sukuna getting hit by the Hollow Purple but didn’t get too much damage. He could see Yuta, Yuji, and Todo were coming at him together. Todo says that Yuta can spam purple without worrying for them as he will use boogie-woogie to evade the attacks.
But then, Yuta hit his limits on the cursed energy and fell while Todo ate a black flash from Sukuna. Yuta’s cursed energy residue remained in the barrier, so Todo’s technique would work great here. He started to use boogie woogie and Yuji started to punch Sukuna repeatedly.
One attack was directly hit between the barriers of Sukuna and Megumi’s soul. It even made Sukuna vomit and he realized that he might be in a dangerous situation. But then suddenly, Hana arrived at the top of the Sukuna, shocking him.
We moved back to the past where how Yuta was talking with her. He wanted Hana only to use Jacob’s ladder as a final blow to Sukuna, where they would try to rip apart Megumi’s soul from Sukuna. Now, he has taken a direct hit of maximum output Jacob’s Ladder at the end of the chapter.
