What Exactly Happened so far?
The previous chapter starts with Yuji’s black flashes, RCT, and information on Sukuna. Laure and Miguel were resting a little further away from the battle when they noticed a sudden change. It was due to the domain expansion of Sukuna, Malevolent Shrine.
Then we were headed towards the flashback where everyone were discussing about RCT and Sukuna. Choso was the one who suggested the idea of switching the soul of Yuji with the help of Ui Ui in order for him to learn new techniques.
Yuji’s body still remembers their feeling for Sukuna when he used his techniques that’s why his growth has been insane in these few months. But Ui Ui also reminds him that in a single month, the time limit for swapping souls is twice per person. He should wisely select the techniques he needs to learn.
Back in the present, we see Yuji using the simple domain to protect himself from Sukuna’s domain expansion. Sukuna’s domain however was incomplete due to most of his part of brain was still affected by Gojo’s domain. In just 99 seconds, the domain will fall. We see Yuji and others trying to endure the slashes.
While enduring Yuji got slashed many times and one of his legs also got cut. But right then, the slashes stopped. We see in the cliffhanger, Sukuna unleashing a new technique, ‘Furnance open.’ The flames are back!
