What Exactly Happened so far?
In the previous chapter, we saw Uraume talking with Sukuna and wanted to learn more about Yuji’s power origins. According to Sukuna, he ate his twin brother in his mother’s womb and that soul somehow ended up with Kenjaku. That gave his twin reincarnation into Jin, Yuji’s dad.
Back to the present we saw Yuji and Sukuna starting to fight against each other while Yuji delivered the black flashes. The narrator explains that now Yuji possesses Blood manipulation and Sukuna’s technique Shrin slash.
But it is a little different according to this era and didn’t have the same power as him. However, what was important was right now Yuji was hitting him with black flashes back to back. We saw another flashback where Ino got permission from Gojo, Shoko, and Ijichi to use Nanami’s cursed tool. With his technique, he was able to help Yuji not once but twice. That helped Yuji to land more black flashes on Sukuna.
It was so irritating for him that Sukuna almost yelled at Yuji while fighting. But the chapter ended with Yuji delivering another black flash with a total of 7 black flashes in a single chapter. One more he delivered in the previous one, so the total count is now 8.
