Another peak season of anime, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has ended and fans are blown away after seeing Yuta come back with the season’s ending now explained
With the adaptation of two popular manga arcs into one, Season 2 has been an emotional roller coaster. It breaks my heart to read each of these arcs. Back in the current day, Psuedo-Geto and the curses are plotting to seal Satoru Gojo in the Shibuya Incident arc, the second cour. Not only do they succeed in enclosing Gojo, but they also manage to free Sukuna, who then causes mayhem in Shibuya.
Jujutsu Kaisen anime season 2 ending and episode 23 plot story explained
Many questions remain unresolved at the end of the second season finale of Jujutsu Kaisen. Yuta has returned to Japan and is now actively seeking revenge against Yuji. It also turns out that Psuedo-Geto’s scheme begins in Shibuya.

A curse puts Tsumiki Fushiguro, Megumi’s step-sister, into a coma in the first season. Nevertheless, the curse did not only affect Tsumiki, but the entire country of Japan. The discovery that Psuedo-Geto has marked two kinds of non-sorcerers occurs in the season two finale of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Those that were marked either ingested cursed artifacts, like Yuji, or were born with cursed methods but were supposed to be non-sorcerers, like Junpei. The former have vascular strength and the latter have sorcerer-tuned brains. Pseudo-Geto cracks the seal on them by casting a remote Idle Transfiguration.
All of this is really a prelude to his grand scheme to launch the Culling Game. According to Pseudo-Geto, the key to humanity’s progress is finding ways to maximize cursed energy. Beyond the realm of sorcery and curses, he longs to discover the whole breadth of human potential.
Yuta comeback in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2
Now that Yuta Okkotsu’s long-awaited anime debut has arrived, things don’t turn out the way fans had hoped. Gojo dispatched Yuta to Africa to train with Miguel following the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons. Just before midnight, Pseudo-Geto starts the Culling Game. But Yuta gets there at about 1:25 in the morning.
After freeing a little girl from a curse, he meets with the leaders of the Jujutsu community. Because he doesn’t trust the elders, Yuta takes a binding oath with them, promising to eliminate Yuji. Because his friend Toge Inumaki lost an arm in Sukuna’s rage, Yuta harbors resentment toward Sukuna.
And that isn’t all. After confirming Geto’s survival, the Jujutsu rules call for his execution once more. The Jujutsu community has cast Gojo out as a traitor and expelled him from the sport. It is a grave transgression to remove his seal.
Killing Masamichi Yaga is the punishment for the instigation of the Shibuya Incident by Geto and Gojo. Even though Gojo got Yuji’s death sentence overturned, he’s back in prison and Yuta is going to be his executioner.
