The filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane has teamed up with the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video for releasing Jubliee, which is an upcoming period drama web series, know its release date and cast
The title of Jubilee was declared during the Amazon Prime Present India event which was held on the 20th of April 2022.
Jubliee is one among the 40 titles declared by Amazon for the next two years, these titles include 18 new scripted ones and 4 new unscripted ones.

The new television shows include a Shahid Kapoor-led thriller, Sonakshi Sinha starrer serial killer drama Dahaad, Kay Kay Menon Led action drama Bambai Meri Jaan, Annu Kapoor starrer Crash Course, Naga Chaitanya starrer Dhootha and others.
Jubliee release date, OTT platform and poster
On the 28th of April 2022, the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video dropped the first look at highly-anticipated fictional drama series from its Twitter handle along with titles and the first look at its other upcoming projects.

The poster of the series features its lead actor Prosenjit Chatterjee in a Bossy look, sitting on a couch and smoking a cigar, the caption tells “Set in a newly independent India, Jubilee is a fictional period drama that unveils stories and dreams that gave birth to Bollywood, as we know it.”
On the 17th of March 2023, they shared a sneak peek from the series. Jubilee is all set for release soon on the 7th of April 2023.
Jubliee star cast
Jubliee is an action drama series that has award-winning Bengali actor Prosenjit Chatterjee in its key role. He is having the lead role which will be exploring the foundational years of Bollywood. He is well known for working in the films like Autograph, Jaatishwar, and others.
Along with him, this series also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, Sidhanat Gupta, and Wamiqa Gabi
Jubliee makers
Jubliee has been created and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane who is well known for directing movies like Udaan in 2010, Lootera in 2013, and AK vs AK in 2020. Soumik is the co-creator of the series while Atul Sabharwal is serving as showrunner.
Reliance Entertainment Studios is producing the series for Amazon Prime Video.
On the technical side, Pratik Shah and Sidharth Meer are both handling the cinematography, editing is done by Aarti Bajaj. Amit Trivedi and Alokananda Dasgupta are composing the soundtracks in this series.
