After Josh and Monica Beverly Hillz were rumoured to be dating earlier in the month, the five-season star of RuPaul’s Drag Race resorted to social media to express her sorrow.
The drag performer wrote, “RIP. My honey, thank you to everyone who has responded; I really appreciate it! I’m heartbroken and am trying to find the right words, but I am at a loss.”
Although Josh’s family declined to say how he passed away, they did provide a phone number for anyone who might be going through a mental health crisis.
Josh Seiter Battled With Mental Illness
The title of his Instagram bio was “Mental Health Pioneer.
On August 25, 2023, just four days prior, Josh published his final social media update.
He smiled and sat in what appeared to be his house, wearing an unbuttoned black shirt. He raised the camera up for the picture and stood in the centre of the frame, revealing multiple chest tattoos.
The former TV personality’s Instagram message read: “Surviving depression and anxiety one day at a time with a smile.” Considering that Josh has already discussed his mental health, this wasn’t an unusual post from him.

Josh acknowledged that he had attempted suicide in a pinned post from more than two years ago on his Instagram profile. He disclosed that he had Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Dipolar Depression, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
He wrote, “I’m Josh Seiter, and I’ve survived a suicide attempt.” I struggle with OCD, bipolar disorder, and GAD, but I don’t give up. What did you survive?
Josh Seiter Shares His Struggles On Social Media
In July, Josh Seiter posted a picture of himself grinning at home on Instagram.
He wrote, “When I was 21, I was utterly catatonic and confined to a psychiatric facility, and at 22, I attempted suicide. I had electroshock therapy when I was 23. Later in the year, I applied to law school with all of my strengths. At 25, I graduated from law school at the top of my class.”
He further added that by the age of 30, he was one of the top creators on OnlyFans and one of the most popular mental health activists online.
He said that at almost the age of 36, his life is pretty near perfect.

Josh started an OF account in 2018 to upload seductive knicker pictures. As fans saw him achieve his goal of reaching 300 pounds last year, he began to make $15,000 each month.
Josh later disclosed his choice to shed the weight that had left him “depressed” and “unmotivated” despite the big salary. Josh said, “I was making a tonne of money, but I was so sad because I had put on over 100 pounds. I began to experience depression. I had trouble falling asleep and was starting to experience knee issues.”
He further added that he was becoming unmotivated in other parts of his life, and a general depression was beginning to set in as he wasn’t going to the gym and was instead only making videos of himself eating for OF.

Yolanda shared the news of Josh’s passing along with a screenshot and wrote, “Rip. I always prayed for you, no matter what.”
