Jonathan Gresham, the ROH and PROGRESS World Champion, has an injury, according to a tweet from PROGRESS Wrestling, know his latest update
Gresham revealed the injury and apologized to fans for missing out on planned performances in a video broadcast by the promotion.

According to Fightful Select, the recently recruited AEW star was checked out for a probable concussion following his battle against Dalton Castle this past Friday during the Battle of the Belts taping. The concussion was most likely caused by a gut wrench suplex that gave him a bump on the head/shoulder.
“Unfortunately, Jonathan Gresham is unable to go to the United Kingdom this weekend owing to an injury. For both #AtlasWeekend events, replacements will be announced soon. On Sunday, May 15th, our champion will be back in action at Chapter 134,” according to the promotion’s Twitter account.
In a video greeting, Gresham said — “Good day, everyone. Unfortunately, owing to an injury, I will not be able to attend the Sunday and Monday events in London this weekend.
“I’ll surely be returning once I’ve been approved, and I’m looking forward to working with Progress and playing for you.”

Gresham won the ROH title at Final Battle in December and defended it at GCW, Impact Wrestling, Terminus, Defy, and PROGRESS before uniting it with Bandido’s global title at Supercard of Honor on April 1. Tony Khan acquired the campaign earlier this year, and he is now being positioned as the primary star. Gresham made his debut appearance on AEW television on Friday.

During the Supercard of Honor press conference, Khan was asked whether there were any updates on the ROH promotion’s future plans, including its TV agreement, future tapings, and pay-per-views. At the moment, he was unable to provide any updates.
