The concussion was most likely caused by a gut wrench suplex that gave him a bump on the head/shoulder.

“Unfortunately, Jonathan Gresham is unable to go to the United Kingdom this weekend owing to an injury. For both #AtlasWeekend events, replacements will be announced soon. On Sunday, May 15th, our champion will be back in action at Chapter 134,” according to the promotion’s Twitter account.

“I’ll surely be returning once I’ve been approved, and I’m looking forward to working with Progress and playing for you.”

Gresham won the ROH title at Final Battle in December and defended it at GCW, Impact Wrestling, Terminus, Defy, and PROGRESS before uniting it with Bandido’s global title at Supercard of Honor on April 1. Tony Khan acquired the campaign earlier this year, and he is now being positioned as the primary star. Gresham made his debut appearance on AEW television on Friday.
