Who Is In The Cast Of Joker 2? 

Joaquin Phoenix will undoubtedly return to reprise his role as Arthur Fleck, better known as the Joker. He will be joined by Lady Gaga, who will portray Harley Quinn, his outgoing and well-known love interest.

Catherine Keener, on the other hand, was hired for a covert position. The actress is well-known for her roles with Ryan Reynolds in Get Out and The Adam Project. Another actor hired by the filmmaker, Brendan Gleeson, hasn’t divulged the part he’ll be playing, which has something to do with Arkham Asylum. 

The final confirmed cast member (so far) was Jacob Lofland, who will portray an Arkham Asylum inmate who befriends Arthur. Zazie Beetz will return to reprise her role as Sophie Dumond. 

When Will The Movie “Joker 2” Be Released? 

It has been announced by Todd Phillips on his social media that the movie will debut on October 4, 2024. The $12.6 million tax credit that California has devised will allow Los Angeles to host the sequel’s filming. 

The director of the film said, “When it comes to resources for our industry, no city has more than Los Angeles.” Having this kind of support from the California Film Commission’s Film and Television Tax Credit Program is a fantastic welcome for all of us on “Joker: Folie à Deux.”

What Will The Sequel, Joker 2, Be About? 

Months of rumours have it that Joker 2 will be a musical. Lead actor Joaquin Phoenix came up with the concept for Arthur’s dance after executing his first murder, the writer-director admitted to a news agency. 

After much debate over this novel idea, Phillips selected choreographer Michael Arnold (The Wolf of Wall Street). Soon after joining the team, he was previously showen the actor several videos to help him perfect the Joker’s signature dance style.

Phoenix’s income climbed fivefold after he received an Academy Award, according to reports. He made about $4.5 million in 2019, but he will get $20 million for the sequel. 

The opposite is also true, according to Variety, which also stated that Gaga will receive $10 million, which is only half of what her co-star will receive. The quantity of scenes they own is the cause of this. A budget of $150 million is anticipated for the second instalment.
