What Exactly Happened in Chapter 8
In the opening moments of Chapter 8 of JoJoLands, Jodio and his companions stop for food before leaving for the airport. After denting Dragona’s automobile, the latter asked Usagi what he planned to do about it. Usagi told him that everything would be alright.
Usagi then requested a loan of twenty bucks from Dragona, which Dragona originally declined. Jodio, however, proposed using the twenty-dollar loan as part of an experiment to determine the efficacy of the lava rock.
After holding the bill against the lava rock for a while. After using his mark on it, Usagi discarded it. The man who later used it to buy food from the same stand as Paco did picked it up and swallowed it. Paco had gone back to the restaurant to get the other man some lunch when he noticed that a fly had gotten into one of the beverages.
Paco then told the others that he had received a new order and a refund in the form of a twenty-dollar bill. It was the same 20 dollar bill they’d carelessly thrown away, which was shocking.
With newfound confidence, Dragona proposed visiting a local luxury watch store to conduct additional tests on the lava rock before taking it on the plane. While Jodio and Paco ate outside, Usagi and Dragona went inside the shop.
