Johnny Ruffo was a renowned Australian singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, and television presenter. He has been in the news because he passed away recently after battling cancer.
He was born on 8 March 1988 in Balcatta, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. His parents were Jill and Pascoe Ruffo, who got separated when Ruffo was three years old. Ruffo did his schooling at Balcatta Senior High School.
He died on 10 November 2023. At the time of his death, he was 35 years old.
ohnny Ruffo had been with his partner Tahnee Sims for eight years and he passed away a week before her 30th birthday but they were not married. He had a net worth of $500,000-1 million.
His career
Johnny Ruffo started his career in Perth as a concreter before becoming well-known in 2011 thanks to X Factor Australia.
After appearing on X Factor, he was able to land a record contract, co-host on Nova FM, and win Dancing with the Stars in 2012, giving away his earnings to charity. His debut single, “On Top,” marked the start of a successful music career.
