Cena has been confirmed for the Raw program airing from his hometown of Boston on March 6. A major WrestleMania match, reportedly against Austin Theory, is anticipated to be set up by John’s return.
When will John Cena join the WWE again?
Since the December 30 SmackDown broadcast, when he and Kevin Owens defeated Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn, Cena hasn’t been seen on WWE TV. The 16-time World Champion is confirmed to be returning to TV next month, so fans won’t have to wait too much longer to see Cena on their TVs.
Cena is being promoted for the Monday Night Raw episode airing in Boston on March 6, as you can see from the attached tweet below.

During this time, Cena was rumoured to be returning to WWE, setting up his first WrestleMania match since 2020. According to the Wrestling Observer, Cena is expected to favour Austin Theory during the event, which will take place in Los Angeles on April 1 and 2.
WWE has been escalating the conflict on television and in interviews for a while now, but when Cena makes his formal return to Raw in a few weeks, things may be different. The United States Championship is now anticipated to be on the line of the event after Theory successfully defended his title at Elimination Chamber. Fans will be excited to see Cen possibly win the championship once more given his extensive experience with it, notably at WrestleMania.
