John Cena New Movie ‘Vacation Friends’ Release Date, Trailer, Plot, Poster And Cast Announced

20th Century Studios has announced the release date of John Cena new movie ‘Vacation Friends’ just in time, read on to know more and watch the full trailer

It hasn’t been long since the release of Fast and Furious 9 and The Champ is back with another flick soon to be released. But this time, he has switched genres from the usual action, superhero ones. John Cena will be starring in an R-rated comedy titled Vacation Friends which comes out worldwide on 27th August, 2021. Read on to check out the hilarious trailer and other details about the movie.

The full cast of Vacation Friends includes John Cena, Lil Rel Howery, Yvonne Orji, Meredith Hagner, Robert Wisdom, Andrew Bachelor and Lynn Whitfield. It will be the first film by 20th Century Studios to have a global release on the Hulu and Disney+ streaming platforms.

The plot of the movie follows the boring couple of Marcus (Howery) and Emily (Orji) befriending party animals Ron (Cena) and Kyla (Hagner) as the latter help the couple let loose and teach them how to live during a vacation. But months later, Marcus and Emily are horrified when their vacation friends show up uninvited to their wedding and create chaos.

The movie is directed by Clay Tarver and written by Tom Mullen, Tim Mullen, Clay Tarver and Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley. The producers are Todd Garner and Timothy M. Bourne, with Steve Pink and Sean Robins as executive producers. Distributed by Hulu, it will be available in Latin America on the new Star+ service launching on August 31st. John Cena WWE Updates, Return and Next Match 

The Champ made his WWE return last Sunday during the main event of the Money in the Bank PPV. As Roman Reigns was addressing the audience after his win over Edge, John Cena interrupted him making his return. He sprinted to the ring and taunted Reigns with the You Can’t See Me. As the event off-air, he went on to address the WWE Universe in a heartfelt speech.

He would go on to open Monday Night Raw the next day, challenging Roman Reigns for a Universal Title match at Summerslam 2021.
