What Exactly Happened in Chapter 33
Unusually for this series, Chapter 33 of Jinx began with a brief flashback. In this scene, Jaekyung and Heesung meet up at a pub to casually discuss their Jinx. The bartender just stood there, seemingly uninterested, as if he had seen all of these shenanigans before.
Heesung mentioned that the only reason Jaekyung was there was because his last one had escaped. He slammed it into the bar, but Jaekyung kept her cool, and Jinx, a beautiful blonde, ordered him a drink. Jaekyung swigged down his soft drink and compared Heesung to a garbage can, saying that he was worse because he threw his out anytime he was bored.
Each thought the other was an a-hole, so they sat in silence and sipped their drinks until some new people joined them. That signaled to Heesung that it was time to attend to the men who had just entered the pub, and he began carefully selecting his next victim. Before he went, he said he would be open to hearing more from Jaekyung given that they work for the same agency.
