The winner of the first Royal Rumble revealed to Wrestling Inc. that a man in his mid-20s attempted to break into his South Carolina home on December 8 at 6:45 p.m. Duggan, whose wife Debra was also home at the time of the incident, claimed to have taken the man to the ground and held him at gunpoint with a.44 calibre handgun.

The unknown invader, who allegedly knocked on many doors before jumping the Duggans’ fence and entering through the unlocked door, was apparently attempting to flee from a different situation, according to the former 2×4-wielding grappler.

As soon as he heard yelling in his neighbourhood, according to Duggan, he turned off his Christmas lights and ordered the intruder to be quiet. The intruder is said to have told Duggan that someone in the area was allegedly trying to kill him.
