Earlier this week, a friend of Madison Mogen’s revealed that she would be selling sweatshirts in memory of the deaths, with all proceeds benefiting the families. The public’s reaction to this new trend on the Internet was overwhelmingly negative.

More than 2,500 miles distant from Moscow, Kohberger was arrested on December 30 at his parents’ house in eastern Pennsylvania. He is now being held at Latah County Jail. On January 12, the court will hold a status hearing with Kohberger.

Key facts of the case were disclosed in the probable cause affidavit that was made public on January 5; for example, the phone records showed that Kohberger had been in the area of the murders at least 12 times before the deaths, and the suspect had left behind a knife sheath with his DNA on it. Furthermore, one of the survivors, Dylan Mortensen, claims to have “saw” the suspected quadruple murderer.

Users make case that Bryan Kohberger was not on a vigil

Newly surfaced video disproves widespread online speculation that the suspect detained in the Idaho killings was present at a vigil for the victims. The armchair detectives, who have been studying the case for weeks, have zeroed in on a single tape showing the back of a tall man with brown hair and made completely unfounded allegations that he could be Bryan Kohberger.

Inside Edition has released fresh film that purports to show the face of the guy. Identified by internet users as Mr. Kohberger, putting an end to the baseless guesswork. A closer look at the video from the news organisation reveals that the man is not Mr. Kohberger.
