The Golden Casket fame musician passed away on Saturday, December 31 at the age of 45 after battling briefly with cancer.

The tragic news of the musician’s demise was announced by Isaac Brock, who’s the frontman of the band in a Facebook post shortly before midnight on New Year’s Eve.
The upsetting post reads, “I don’t know a way to ease into this: Today we lost our dear friend, Jeremiah.”

Jeremiah was married to Laura Green and was a proud father to a 6-year-old son Wilder James Isaac.
Earlier, on the occasion of Christmas, the rock band took to his Facebook and revealed to his fans that he is being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
The post of the band reads, “Jeremiah was diagnosed with cancer a short while ago, and he’s currently in treatment. It seems to be going smoothly and making a positive difference.”
The post further added, “Jeremiah, as am I, are believers in the power of positive energy, so if you would be so kind as to send ‘good vibes’ (to quote Jeremiah) in the direction of Jeremiah and his family, that’d be great.”

Meanwhile, Jeremy’s mother, Carol Namatame, took to her facebook and expressed, “Please send healing vibes for my son, Jeremiah Green. He’s [sic] is so strong and so brave and hanging in there!”
For those who are curious, let us tell you, Green founded the rock indie band in 1993 with Brock and bassist Eric Judy, who later left the group in 2012.
The veteran musician stayed consistently with the group and is known as the longest-serving member of the band aside from Brock. Though he briefly left the group back in 2003 but soon enough in 2004 he re-joined the band. He had a net worth of $5 million.
