His mother is Bilashini Devi, a housewife, and his father is Deben Thounaojam, a former football player. He also has an older brother named Jonichand Singh, who played football for India’s under-19 team.
At the age of eleven, Jeakson Singh left his birthplace and traveled all the way to Chandigarh to enroll at the CFA, or Chandigarh Football Academy. After this, he eventually joined Minerva Punjab Academy.
