How does the Javelin throw work, rules and regulations, format and weight

This sport of javelin throw needs enough strength, power, devotion, abilities, and skills. It needs the most amount of focusing. The player is needed to throw a metal-tipped javelin as far as he can. In the competition, players usually throw the javelin three to six times. If the situation is a tie then the player with the best efforts will be announced as the winner.

Before Neeraj Chopra, Abhinav Bindra had bagged a gold medal in shooting in the year 2008 at the mega sport Olympic Games. This Gold was also India’s 7th medal at the 2020 Olympics held in Tokyo.

The talent of throwing the Javelin so far, with devotion was mostly practiced in old times in Greece and slowly converted from an everyday hunting and warfare activity and it was suddenly added to the Olympic Games. The sport of javelin throw includes the participation of both women and men in it.

About Neeraj Chopra And His Biography

The young and devoted 23 years old Neeraj belongs to Haryana, who is a Subedar with 4 Rajputana Rifles for the army of India. Neeraj Chopra made his interest in this sport of Javelin throw from the year 2011 and was one of the first Indians to achieve the gold medal at the World Junior Championship in the year 2016 held in Poland. Neeraj also became one of the first Indian athletes to bag gold medals in both the Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games of 2018.

The Government of Haryana has declared to honor the player with Rs.6 crores for his achievement at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and provide other benefits also.
