On Tuesday, 14 February, 2023, Javed Khan Amrohi , Ram Singh of Lagaan, and a vital participant in the Indian people’s theatre association, IPTA departed for his heavenly home. Javed, according to the reports of sources spent almost a year in bed due to a respiratory condition. Javed Khan was receiving care at the Surya Nursing Home when he passed away at an age of 73 years from lung failure.

Javed Khan Amrohi was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Amrohi worked in the both film and television industry. He was a graduate of the film and television industry, film and television institute of India. He started his career through theatre and crossed 150 plus films and also around dozens plus television shows.
Javed played crucial roles in several small shows. Javed’s most notable performance was in the award-nominated movie Lagaan, Once upon a time in India, 2001. He was born on the 24th of March in 1949 and at the time of death, he was 73 years old. He, unfortunately, died on the 14th of February, 2023.
Being a performer in the television series Nukkad from the 1980s, Javed Amrohi played a very crucial role of a barber. Further he appeared in shows such as Ghar Jamai in 1997, Shaktimaan in 1998, Vishnu Puraan in 2000, and Powder in 2010. In 1984, due to his extreme popularity, he was given a small role in a music video for the film, Duniya.
Later on, he made his debut in Bollywood debut by appearing in the film Jalte Badan which was released in 1981 and back to back he appeared in 100-plus films to date. He also worked at Mumbai’s zee institute of media arts. Javed’s primary education was carried out in Mumbai’s local schools.
