Jannik Sinner is a right-handed (two-handed backhand) tennis professional from Italy. Born on 2001, August 16, Sinner is 20 years old and is 6 ft and 2 inches.

Sinner was very good at football as well as tennis as a child. When he was thirteen years old, he chose tennis and moved to Riviera and got trained under coach Riccardo Piatti. He started appearing at the professional tennis event when he turned sixteen. The 20-year-old is now coached under Simone Vagnozzi, a former tennis professional player.

Sinner was born to Johann and Singlinde Sinner. His parents worked as a chef and a waitress at a ski lodge. He was dating Italian influencer Maria Braccini since September 2020 but broke up with her in 2021 with him said to be single at the moment.

In 2018, Sinner made his ITF Futures and Challenger Tour debut followed by his ATP tour debut in 2019. The Italian then reached his first Grand Slam quarterfinal at the 2020 French Open and recorded his first Grand Slam main draw debut the same year at the Australian Open. The Italian had a walkover against Nick Kyrgios at BNP Paribas Open but won against him at the last 16 in Florida to reach the quarterfinals of the Maimi Open 2022. He previously came past Pablo Carreno Busta in the last 32 and Emil Ruusuvuori to reach this level.
