Famous Stunt Actor, James Winburn left us for his heavenly abode, know his age and family
The Hollywood actor, who’s best known for playing the stunt double role in 1978’s horror film Halloween, passed away at the age of 85.

As per reports, the actor passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 aged 85.

The tragic news of James’ demise was confirmed by his manager Peter DeLorme. The manager of the iconic actor revealed in a statement to the media outlet TMZ about the passing of Winburn.
According to the statement given Peter, the veteran actor passed away in a hospital in Los Angeles after battling with an unknown illness.
For those who are unversed, let us tell you, James has hundreds of stunt credits as he started working as a stuntman in the 1970s.
Some of his work includes McLoud, The Six Million Dollar Man, and The Bionic Woman, and films like The Poseidon Adventure, The Fog, The Stunt Man, Escape From New York and TRON.
Although James had started working as a stuntman, he rose to fame after he appeared in the 1978 movie Halloween.
He played the stunt double for the actor Tony Moran in the climax of the movie. He acted for the scene where the character was shot repeatedly and fell to death from a balcony.
After appearing for Halloween, he was offered many stunt roles.
Throughout his career, James had played the role of body double for quite a famous Hollywood personalities such as David Hasselhoff, Peter O’Toole, Barry Bostwick, Stan Lee, Chevy Chase, George Hamilton, among many more.
After learning the news of James’ demise, social media has been flooded by tribute messages from James fans, friends and co-actors.
The Monopoly Events also took to their Twitter handle and penned a heartfelt message. The tweet of the brand reads, “We are extremely sad to learn of the passing of James Winburn, who joined us for @ftlohorror last month.”
Followed by another organization, Monster-Mania Con, tweeted, “Sad to learn of the passing of James Winburn today.”
