Jaideep Deswal began practicing and competing in discus throw events in the year 2007 upon recommendations from his friends. Jaideep’s father recently got retired from Rajasthan police and his family is living in a small village on the borders of Rohtak. His family was not familiar with sports previously although Jaideep used to be a daily trainer in the fields of his local villages.
Jaideep idolizes Hockey Legend Major Dhyanchand and his sporting professional career inspiration. People have seen him representing India at the Paralympic Games 2012 in London, 2014 Asian Para and Commonwealth Games, and the World Para Athletics Championships of the year 2015.

In 2014 in the Discus Throw again he made a throw of 37.48m by ranking at number 4th at Men’s Discus throw. At the Asia Oceania Athletics Championships, Deswal represented India and bagged a Gold in Dubai.
