2022 Jack’s World Series of Darts Finals Day 2 Results, Venue, Draw, Tickets, And Final Day Schedule
Van Gerwen, a four-time champion, delighted the AFAS Live audience by defeating Damon Heta 6-4, despite the fact that the Australian had rallied from a 2-0 deficit to lead 4-3 at one point. With a 14-darter, the Dutchman drew even before taking the lead at 5-4 and then taking advantage of his opponent’s missing doubles to win with a double nine.
2020 champion Price defeated Matt Campbell in a decisive leg after the Canadian challenged the top-ranked player all the way. Before breaking throw with a 101 checkout to pull 5-4 ahead, Campbell completed 115, 76, 85, and 70 to split the opening eight legs. In order to win the match, Price pulled out 113 and used the throw’s favor in the championship round to pin double ten and advance. In the quarterfinals, Price will face Joe Cullen, who overcame Dave Chisnall with a score of 6-5.
During his matchup with Leonard Gates of America, the 2018 champion Wade prevailed 6-4. Gates had rallied from a 5-1 deficit to trim the difference to one leg before Wade’s left-handed play sealed the deal. With the performance in the second round—averaging 107.40 in a 6-4 victory over Peter Wright—Michael Smith advanced to a delectable quarterfinal matchup against Wade.
Meanwhile, Ryan Joyce defeated top-seed Dimitri Van den Bergh 6-2 in the second round and advanced through to the final day. In the quarterfinal, Joyce will compete against local favorite Dirk van Duijvenbode, who defeated Gary Anderson after rallying from a 3-2 deficit by winning four straight legs. The eight victors from Saturday will be back for Sunday’s Finals Day, which will feature quarterfinals in the afternoon, followed by semifinals and a final in the evening.
