Ja Morant turned up to beat up Wolfchase Galleria Finnish Line shoe store employee after his argument with his mother

A security director at the Wolfchase Galleria revealed that he felt threatened by Memphis Grizzlies fame Ja Morant and his “associates,” in an incident report filed in July, last year from the Finish Line shoe store

As per the reports, someone’s mother was involved in a dispute with one of the employees inside the Finish Line shoe store. As the chaos continued, she was asked to leave the store, after which she called her son.

Soon enough, Ja Morant along with a group reached at the mall. Though the incident report doesn’t specify whose mother was involved in the initial dispute, but the Washington Post reported the matter on Wednesday that the lady was none other than Morant’s mother.

The person who filed the incident is the director of security at the mall, who in a statement said that a group of around 9 to 10 people were refusing to leave the parking lot area.

The Memphis Police department reached at the scene and asked Morant and group to leave. The report reads that, “The demands from the [security director] angered suspect #1, and they began to have a verbal confrontation.”

Although Ja Morant is named in the report but he wasn’t named as a suspect. The report further reads that, “Officer Edwards positioned his body in between the two individuals to prevent a physical altercation.”

“At this time, suspect #1 reached over Officer Edwards’ shoulder and conducted an unknown action, resulting in both individuals taking an aggressive fighting stance,” the report added.

Though the report alleged that Morant said that , “Let me find out what time he get off,” to which the security director quoted as the cause of feeling threatened. As of now Grizzlies hasn’t responded anything regarding the matter.

The incident at the mall came into the lime-light days before Ja Morant punched a teenager. For those who aren’t aware, let us tell you, the star was earlier also accused of punching a teenager during a basketball game on June 26, last year.

That incident also took place at his home and was confirmed by both Grizzlies, guard and the teenager whose name wasn’t made public.

At the time, the teen told the police that the player “struck” him with a closed cost, knocking him onto the ground, where Morant “continued sticking him while on the ground.” As per the report, the teenager had thrown a basketball at the player, hitting him in the face.
