A look at Iyo Sky’s career
Iyo began her wrestling career in 2007 at the juvenile age of 16, making her professional debut in Japan in March. Before culminating at NXT in WWE in the summer of 2018, her wrestling career spanned numerous promotions in Japan and Mexico.
Iyo made her WWE main roster debut at SummerSlam 2022. However, rather than at SummerSlam, her debut match was held on the next episode of Monday Night Raw. Bianca Belair, the Raw Women’s Champion, squared off against Asuka in a non-title contest. Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Dakota Kai, and Bayley’s interference, however, led to the match ending in a no-contest. They joined a fight with Belair and Iyo Sky.
