ITTF World Table Tennis Championships 2023 Indian athletes day 4 results
The day began with the match between Germany’s Dang Qiu and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran in the Men’s Singles Round of 64. The Indian lost 0-4 with a score of (6-11, 6-11, 5-11, 7-11). The second match was between Wong Xin Ru of Singapore and Manika Batra in the Women’s Singles Round of 64. The match ended with Batra emerging victorious with a score of 4-0 (9-11, 12-14, 4-11, 8-11).
The third match was between Germany’s Nina Mittelham vs Reeth Tennison in the Women’s singles round of 64. Mittelham emerged victorious 4-1 and a score of 11-8, 11-3, 9-11, 11-8, 11-5. In the fourth match, Manika Batra and Archana Kamath defeated Dora Madaras and Georgina Pota 3-0 in the Women’s doubles Round of 32. The pair won with a score 11-5, 11-6, 11-7.
Meanwhile, in the Mixed Doubles Round of 32 American pair Nikhil Kumar and Amy Wang beat Manav Thakkar and Archana Kamath after a fierce match. Kumar and Wang eventually emerged as the winners with a narrow 3-2 victory. The pair won with a 6-11, 11-9, 11-5, 5-11, 11-9 score.
