Andy Murray has now taken to Twitter to lash out at Stefano Tsitsipas after his first round exit at the US Open 2021
Although he was ousted in the first round of the US Open, Andy Murray played one of his finest matches ever in a long time. The Brit made things extremely jittery for Stefano Tsitsipas during the encounter as the two partook in an edge of the seat five set thriller.
The matchup ultimately swung in Tsitsipas’ favour who managed to show immense composure and guile to send Murray packing from the marquee Grand Slam. However, it wasn’t a regular exit with Andy Murray going on an outburst against Tsitsipas and his prolonged breaks during the tie.

Murray was first caught complaining during the match with him seen extremely irked at the tactical breaks Tsitsipas was taking. They came at the end of the second, third and fourth sets, with two of them lasting as long at 7 and 8 minutes.
Murray who made a fair point ensured he reiterated his stand in the post-match press conference as well where he went onto talk about how he had lost all respect for Tsitsipas who he accused of cheating on the day.
Murray didn’t stop there only though with the Englishman continuing on Twitter as well. “It takes Stefanos Tsitipas twice as long to go the bathroom as it takes Jeff Bazos to fly into space,” Murray went onto tweet as he once again questioned the extended breaks Tsitsipas was taking.
Fact of the day. It takes Stefanos Tsitipas twice as long to go the bathroom as it takes Jeff Bazos to fly into space. Interesting. 🚽 🚀

Murray wasn’t the only one to hit out at Tsitsipas with Nick Kyrgios also heard asking how Stefano was allowed to take as much time in the toilet as he pleased.
