Fans of the South Korean hunk Cha Eun Woo had to wait more than a year for his next drama after True Beauty, but it was well worth the wait! The first two episodes of Island wowed fans with their quick-witted plots, sharp action sequences, and endearing characters.
The Release Date For Island Season 2?
After the January 13 season 1 conclusion, Island season 2 will supposedly premiere in February 2023, so fans won’t have to wait too long.
Island Season 1: How Many Episodes?
Before season 2 of Island returns later in 2023, season 1 will include six episodes. Every Friday at 12 p.m. KST on TVING and afterwards on Amazon Prime, two episodes of Island will be available.

Plot Preview For Island Season 1
The first season of Island reveals the mystery surrounding Jeju Island, where Yohan, Van, and Miho band together to stop the spread of demonic energy that threatens to end the planet. Miho and Van have a shared past, but because Miho is unable to recall it, the former must carry the heartbreaking tale alone until Miho regains his memories.
A young and gifted priest named Yohan (Cha Eun Woo) has travelled to Jeju Island in search of the individuals mentioned in a prophecy who can protect the world from demonic energies.
Yohan makes friends with Miho and teams up with her on a search for a missing female. As the three battle the evil together, viewers will finally get to watch Miho using her own abilities when one secret leads to another.
