Island Part 2 traveled back in time to shed light on the pasts of Van, Gungtan, and Wonjeong. Young Van and young Gungtan undergo intense physical training after being chosen to defeat desired demons. The two are taken care of by Young Wonjeong, who often enters their cell to provide meals. Wonjeong devises a plan to have the two escape their circumstances since he can not stand it; nevertheless, the plan is unsuccessful. She had a serious injury, and Van returns to take her to the temple.
As Wonjeong awakes, she realizes that she must put in a lot of effort to build the barrier she needs to safeguard Van and Gungtan. Goong Tan was more terrified of Wonjewong after learning that she had awoken and called on Gusunsae to cast wicked illusions on everybody. Before Gusunsae starts a big slaughter at the school, Van and Yohan stop him. Yet, when his brother assaulted Yeom Ji’s home, Van fought back fiercely.
