According to the reports on October 6, “Island” would debut in December. Director Bae Jong, known for “Welcome to Dongmakgol” and “Fabricated City,” will head the drama. The cast, which includes Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO, and Sung Joon, was originally announced for 2021.
Storyline Explained
Pan, a sorrowful character who battles evil in anticipation of the end of the world but is unable to live with people, will be portrayed by Kim Nam Gil. The third-generation chaebol and teacher Won Mi Ho will be played by Lee Da Hee.
Won Mi Ho reluctantly starts a self-reflection session on Jeju Island without knowing her fate. Cha Eun Woo will change into John, a hip Catholic exorcist and priest with the lofty mission of preserving life and casting out evil. He does, though, have a terrible and dismal past. Sung Joon will play the part of Goong Tan, who was brought up alongside Pan to deal with evil. But after a catastrophic incident, Goong Tan starts to oppose Pan, giving the narrative an exciting twist and suspense.

Kim Nam-Gil is an actor, producer, director, singer, and philanthropist. He hails from South Korea. The disaster blockbuster “Pandora”, the crime drama “Memoir of a Murderer”, the action movie “The Pirates”, the historical drama “Portrait of a Beauty”, and the crime-comedy television series “The Fiery Priest” are among his best-known appearances. His breakout role was as Bidam in the popular historical drama “Queen Seondeok” on television.
Lee Da-hee is an actress and model from South Korea. In the 2013 SBS courtroom drama “I Can Hear Your Voice,” she had her breakthrough performance. She is also recognised for her performances as Cha Hyeon in “Search: WWW” and Kang Sa-ra” in The Beauty Inside.
