Have a look at the full list of the Playoffs teams, knockouts schedule and format in ISL 2022-2023
The Indian Super League (ISL) season for 2022–23 is shortly concluding.
The league stage of the ISL, India’s elite football league, began with each side playing the other twice in a double-leg round-robin format.
Yet unlike past seasons, when the top four teams after the league round automatically went to the playoffs, the ISL 2022–23 will follow a completely different system.

The top two teams from the league stage advance directly to the semi-finals, while the final two spots are determined by single-elimination matches between the teams who placed third through sixth, respectively, in the ISL 2022–23 league stage standings.
Six teams rather than four have so advanced to the playoff round for the first time in ISL history.

Meanwhile, in the 2022–23 Indian Super League, Chennaiyin FC (CFC), the two-time defending champion, will meet NorthEast United (NEUFC) on Friday at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (ISL). CFC wants to have a successful season’s end at home.
The CFC fanbase is enthusiastic despite missing out on a playoff spot this season. For the first time in the ISL season, the Marina Machans have won two straight games after winning their previous two games.
After ending its eight-match losing lack with a victory against East Bengal (EBFC) more than ten days earlier, CFC handed FC Goa a crushing blow last week with a 2-1 victory at the Fatorda Stadium.
