Is the Matt Canada burner account Dan Robbins on Twitter (X) real or fake

Twitter users have claimed to have found the burner account of Matt Canada

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada is facing increased scrutiny within his team due to recent comments made by head coach Mike Tomlin, who expressed the need for changes following their disappointing 30-6 loss to the Houston Texans.

Now, Canada is under further investigation in connection with a rumored involvement with a burner Twitter account.

Is the Matt Canada burner account DannyFootball77 on Twitter (X) real or fake after comments on Mike Tomlin

NFL analyst Benjamin Ehrlich discovered this development on Monday evening when he attempted to recover the password for the Twitter account @DannyFootball77, which is known for defending the Steelers against their critics.

Ehrlich’s actions raised suspicions that the current Steelers offensive coordinator might be operating this fan burner account.

While there are some uncertainties, Ehrlich believes there is enough evidence to suggest that Matt Canada is the individual behind the @DannyFootball77 account. The “Dan Robbins” account has posted responses that support this theory.

For instance, when the X account Blitzburgh criticized the Steelers for lacking a genuine offensive coordinator, the burner account in question responded to defend Canada.

Additionally, when a Steeler fan criticized the idea of Kenny Pickett working with Canada and called for a better offensive coordinator, the “Robbins” account came to Canada’s defense. It also pointed out that George Pickens, a player under Canada’s guidance, isn’t receiving as many targets and compared this situation to the usage of CeeDee Lamb, a Pro Bowl wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys.

Furthermore, the burner account responded to the #FireCanada hashtag, but neither Canada nor the Steelers have addressed the identity of the person managing this account on X.

One analyst raised a potential concern about the email address associated with @DannyFootball77. It was noted that the Steelers typically use “steelers.nfl.com” as the ending for their email addresses, not “steelers.com.” This email pattern aligns with that of the Steelers and other NFL teams.

It is likely that someone from the Pittsburgh media will inquire with Mike Tomlin about the @DannyFootball77 account to determine if it belongs to a member of the coaching staff.
